Learning basic math has never been more fun. You will love to see your children making progress in their arithmetic skills while being entertained. This Christmas themed math is an ideal way to master it all – Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division – with no pain in no time.
The game features five game types:
- Math Bingo
- Winter Match
- Snowman Hunter
- Catch a Star
- Penguin Craze
All these games are designed with kids in mind. They are very simple to use with no time-consuming settings and no confusing interfaces. Just a few clicks and the rewarding learning experience can begin. They can be modified in two ways. There is a possibility to select one of four areas and three difficulty levels depending on your child’s interest and ability:
- Numbers
- Addition
- Subtraction
- Multiplication
- Division
In Addition and Subtraction, the difficulty levels correspond to numbers in range of 0-10 (Easy), 0-20 (Medium), and 0-100 (Hard). In Multiplication and Division, these levels correspond to multiplying and dividing by 1-5 (Easy), 1-10 (Medium), and 11-20 (Hard).
In Christmas Bingo, the aim is to create either horizontal or vertical pattern. This can be done by matching correct answers to math questions with numbers displayed on twenty cards.
Snowman Hunter is a fun game consisting of five levels. The possible modifications to the game are the same as in the Bingo. The object is to get through all five levels. Each subsequent level gets more difficult as more answer choices are displayed and maximum time to select the correct answer gets shorter.
In Winter Match your task is to match a correct answer with a corresponding question. For each additional second, you lose 10 points; points are also subtracted for incorrect answers.
Catch a Star: Your task is to catch as many ghosts as possible within a given time limit. The spider on the right side of the screen measures the time. You can catch a ghost by selecting the ghost with the number corresponding to the correct answer to the displayed question.
Based on our two-decade old experience in development of educational software, we made a considerable effort to ensure that this app is as simple and instructive as possible. All the children we showed it to in our research reported improvement in their math skills without tediousness typical of solving math problems in a more traditional way. Right as I open the app, I was greeted by a voice. This voice was there to guide me through the app. Through the whole app there are nice animations and graphics. Also, in the app there are many different game to choose from, at many different difficulties. They were all entertaining but the same time very educational. The app did not crash the whole time I was using it. I recommend it to anyone

With 5 various games to choose from and ranging from simple number identification, to addition/subtraction and multiplication/division, Adventure Basic School Math has something for everyone. Difficulties are easy to set with a quick tap based on both your child’s age and progress. All activities and equations are age-appropriate and designed to increase your child’s confidence in math. This app does so with flying colours. Overall, Adventure Basic School Math is a fun, engaging, and thought-provoking application for children of all ages!
My five year old girl and seven year old boy both love these games. I really like that there are so many games in one app, and that they cater to varying skill levels. That way if you have more than one kid, they can both enjoy it, and it can also grow with your kids as their skill level increases.
The game is well made, with nice colours, cute characters, great graphics and fun sounds.
We use it as homework on a daily basis. Very well designed and covers everything from additions to divisions. Learn while having fun, very smart.
This app goes from simple number recognition for my 3 year old all the way up to complicated multiplication and division for my grade schoolers who especially love the bingo game.

Some bad moments
Adventure Basic School Math is definitely one of my favorites! This cute game features a plethora of characters which kids will fall in love with. Plus, the games are an absolute joy to play! I definitely think Catch a Star is my favorite of the five. Overall, Adventure Basic School Math is a wonderful choice for parents when it comes to choosing an educational math app for iPhone and/or iPad.

My kids absolutely loved this game as soon as I introduced it to them! Math Adventures has many different styles of games that all helps in my children to better learn their math abilities. I loved that each game I can choose certain criteria such as numbers, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing based on what I want my children to learn. If they do very well, then I can up the difficulty level to better test their knowledge and help them learn along the way. I have found this to be a wonderful family game that also helps my kids learn. What more can you ask for! Highly recommended.
